Technical Assistance And Program Development Support For The Healthy Marriage Demonstration Initiative

Project Summary:

The purpose of the project is to provide technical assistance to community-level demonstration coalitions and their state government partners participating in the “Healthy Marriage and Responsible Fatherhood Community Demonstration Initiative.” These broad-based community-level coalitions and their partners are developing and implementing comprehensive intervention strategies to promote and maintain healthy marriages, family formation, and responsible fatherhood. The demonstration partnerships include governmental, nongovernmental, community- and faith-based organizations. Capital Research Corporation staff is part of a team providing technical assistance to the coalitions and their state-level partners during several phases of demonstration development. CRC staff has primarily been involved with assisting the Boston site with development and implementation of a management information system to track participants involved in the demonstration effort.
